Question about 1998 Plymouth Breeze
I have a 1998 Plymouth Breeze, 2.0. The check engine lite stays on steady all the time. The other day I was driving it and it started running real rough like it was going to die. I shut it off and started it back up and it ran fine. It is still running ok. But the check engine lite is still on.
If you disconnect the battery for 1 minute and reconnect it the check engine lite will reset. when you start your vehicle again the lite shouldn't be on unless the problem is still present. If the problem is still there the lite will come on again and you should take it in to a shop and have it diagnosed for engine codes and see what the problem is.
Try disconnecting the battery first though before you go spending great amounts of money on something that was probably just a minor glitch in the computer.
Bets of luck and let me know if this has helped you.
