SOURCE: where is the o2 sensor located on a 1991 honda accord ex 2.2 engine

Further clarification on the O2 sensor location: It is in the exhaust pipe, under the center of the car, on top of the pipe, just aft of the oil filter.

SOURCE: cant find o2 sensors

if you follow your exhaust system you will find the o2 sensors they could have one right off the exhaust manifold and your second o2 is going to be behind the catalytic converter. so you will have a o2sensor before and after the catalytic converter on the exhaust hope this helps you out.
please rate me if you would
thank you

In the back of the instrument panel, there is a small screw next to an empty hole. Remove the screw and put it in the empty hole. Repeat this every 90,000.

SOURCE: 1991 isuzu rodeo o2 dash light is stuck on...

The O2 sensor needs to be replaced. There is a screw on the back side of the instrument panel that is removed and switched to another hole in the circuit board to reset the light for another 90,000 miles. Only a shop manual will have the exact location. You can try and obtain one from http://www.helm.com and buy one using print on demand.

The chokes now operate with temperature sensors. The sensor sets the "cold start" cycle which will rev the engine by advancing the spark and the fuel richness. It is only suppose to last less than 2 or 3 minutes.

The O2 sensors are suppose to warm up to signal the computer that it can go into normal mode. Some O2 sensors have a built in heater to help shut down the "cold engine" cycle sooner. If your O2 sensors are not heaing up with this feature burned out, then the engine will stay revved up longer.

This can also affect a later startup as the engine is not resetting for a warm engine. So you have 2 possible things wrong. A defective engine temperature sensor and bad O2 sensors with burnedout heaters in them.

Some O2 sensors can be tested by a mechanic going under the car and unplugging the wires on the O2. The temperature sensor may be one of 2 in your car. 1 sensor runs the dash gauge and the other works the engine management system.

to reset the ECU module, you have to remove the positive connection on the battery terminal, set it aside, and then in the fuse box take out the ecu fuse let is sit for 10 minutes then plug in the fuse, and secure the positive connection on the battery terminal. that should reset the ecu module. you will see some gains in performance, this should clear the lights.

Sounds like your O2 sensor is malfunctioning. When the check engine light comes on, the computer goes into a preset mode bypassing the O2 sensor and that's why it suddenly runs good. Have the O2 sensor checked. You can also have the trouble codes read and they should point you in the same direction.

Rough idle after initial startup.

Really the sky is the limit here. See when you first start vehicle the computer is in open loop which means it is not monitoring the O2 sensors and fuel control is set to a calibrated setting. After the Heaters heat up the O2 sensors it then goes into closed loop and starts monitoring the O2 sensors to control air/fuel. So anything in the fuel and air mix could be causing your problem like false air volume reporting from the MAF sensor,a vacuum leak, unmeasured air getting into the engine behind the MAF sensor from a leaking hose,,a faulty pcv system, lazy O2 sensors, etc.
I would first recommend cleaning the MAF sensor and resetting the keep alive memory.Get a T20 torx bit and remove the MAF and get some electrical cleaner and spray the MAF bulbs clean then let it air dry or blow it dry with light shop air. Then disconnect battery for about 30 minutes to reset the strategies and see if this cures your problem. It will take probably 50 miles of driving for the strategies to reset.
