Check for a vacuum leak and make sure ur o2 sensor is plugged in. the fuel filter is easy to check its on the passenger side in front end under the alternator. mine has 3 hoses contected to it. disconnect hoses and pull out the filter. blow air into the filter if its clogged u wont be able to blow air through or whatever has it clogged will come out. its like $3.99 for a new one. it could also be the fuel regulator sensor if it feels like it wants to stall out when you push on the gas to start going.

Check out the posting date for the original problem. It is almost 3 years old. You will find that since they archive the items here, that many are too old to matter anymore.

Have the idle bypass valve checked, also called idle air control valve.
If that valve is stuck in the closed position, it's not allowing the fuel to bypass the throttle plate to keep it idling, resulting in stalling, but will keep engine running if the pedal is pushed down.

Check the throttle body butterfly flap, its propably very dirty, holding off the flap at idle will cut it out. If its dirty, then get a can of carburrettor cleaning spray and clean the throttle body, that should do the trick. Hope that helps

Stalling everytime when pulling over to stop

there are 2 things that will cuase this problem, one is a leaking Exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR for short), this is very common, the other is the carb has dirt in it and needs an overhaul.
