Question about 1983 Chrysler Fifth Avenue
I have a 83 chrysler fifth ave....just recently that it has been acting slugish when pressing on gas pedal...now i have to hold down the gas pedal for it to start....and hold the gas pedal down to keep it running....
could it be the fuel filter,or the fuel pump.....
Check for a vacuum leak and make sure ur o2 sensor is plugged in. the fuel filter is easy to check its on the passenger side in front end under the alternator. mine has 3 hoses contected to it. disconnect hoses and pull out the filter. blow air into the filter if its clogged u wont be able to blow air through or whatever has it clogged will come out. its like $3.99 for a new one. it could also be the fuel regulator sensor if it feels like it wants to stall out when you push on the gas to start going.
