Question about 2002 BMW 5 Series
2005 BMW 525 apparently has an electronic circuit to select the speed of the interior ventilation fan. Now hardly ever works, previously intermittent. I am a retired Electronics engineer but tracing the wiring from control to dashboard to fan motor to under loor mounted resistor seems to be a major task. Any history or circuit diagram would be a great help. Its our summer now which makes this rather urgent. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SPEED RESISTOR. VERY COMMON PROBLEM ON EUROPEAN VARS. NORMALLY THIS RESSISTOR IS BEHINF GLOVE BOX IN THE HEATER/A-C BOX..
