Question about 2005 Chevrolet Impala
On a trip i noticed that my temperature gauge was stuck down on the left side of my insturment panel and it wont move.
There is a temperature sensor likely to be on your radiator. Make sure the connection is plugged in. Sometimes un-plugging and plugging it back will correct the issue. If not, you'll have to have some check if the sensor is faultly or if the electric wire is fault. You can check your fuse box. I don't think it's a fuse because other things on your instrument cluster would also not work.

For those of you short on cash..... I have repaired my guages myself. heres how
you have faulty stepper motors in your instrument panel clusters. 03-06 gm vehicles subject to this problem. gm wont take responsibility for this and if you are not under warrenty its about 500 outta ur pocket for them to fix. unless u click my link!

I had the same problem and I got it fixed by going to http://www.instrumentclusters.com/. It cost $235 for EVERYTHING. I just need to get the electrical system fixed. I'll start by replacing the fuses, and hopefully that alone should do it!
