Question about 1999 GMC Jimmy
Stuck in 4wd high... Put it in neutral push any of the selector buttons and both 4wd high and low kights flash and then goes back into 4wd high.
Sounds like the vacuum lines are either pinched or the vacuum pump is shot. try getting a mechanic look at the lines on and around your transfer case... also try checking the fuses for the 4wd selector. let me know how it goes

Under the battery tray is the vacuum actuator, disconnect the vacuum line and plug. With no vacuum pulling on the actuator the 4wd will disengage. The problem is "why is there vacuum to the acuator when there is no call for 4wd" Is it the module in the kick panel or something down the line
