SOURCE: replace cv boot on a renault kangoo

Did one today, assuming drive shaft removed take off large clip from inner boot slide back joint socket comes away leaving the knuckle joint on the shaft remove 19mm circlip and tap knuckle off spline this allows outer boot to come back - easy enough. Not much tubber to secure new clip over boot though especially with all the grease.

SOURCE: renault kangoo 1.9d timing belt

the easiest way to do the t belt is to remove the alternato belt, the engine mounting, jack up the engine and remove the covers. the camshaft and cranckshaft pulleys are both marked. the camshaft straight up and the crankshaft straight down..

SOURCE: Annoying Renault Kangoo electrical problems.

I have a Nissan Kubistar which I understand is the same vehicle as Renault Kangoo.
The key fob works perfectly well most of the time then everyone once and while, the key no longer unlocks the vehicle and then the indicators don't work. After some time, the key works again as do the indicators etc.
I have replaced the battery in the key fob but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.
Any suggestions??

I have a 2001 Renault laguna 2 1.8 16v and the timing belt has broken, it has got too many marks on the wheel so I don't know how to allign them could you please help me out?

You can google the part and it will show you what you are asking about. To my knowledge there should be a dot on the wheel for you to start from and on the belt or else it doesn't matter where you place the belt just be sure the cam gears are lined up.

I m looking for chain timing marks on xc 1.4 holden combo any one can help please

there is no marks on both camshaft gears or chain, and special tools are required if this is the twin cam engine with chain drive not belt.
timing mark on crank pulley must line up with mark on cover then there is a special tool that lock both camshafts at rear in the flat slots as well as lock pin to put into hole in block that locks cranck shaft.
then there is another special tool for camshaft sensor interuptor ring which is on one of the camshaft gears.

How to set timing when you relesh tensioner and it changes the alignment postion of pullies 2000 ford ranger 2.5 l

Here is the trick. Align marks. Put the timing belt on the crank shaft pulley first, and after on the overhead cam pulley. Release tensioner and rotate the crank shaft till the timing belt makes two full circles. Try to align marks, you will be at least one tooth off. Align the crank shaft on the mark, and find out how many teeth you are off at the cam shaft pulley. Count the teeth. Remove the timing belt from cam shaft pulley only. Move cam shaft pulley in reverse according to the number of teeth you counted. Make sure the crank shaft pulley is on the mark. Mount the belt at cam shaft pulley.Rotate the belt two circles and check the marks. Repeate this procedure til after releasing the tensioner, and rotating the timing belt two full circles, the mars will be align.

Kangoo 1.5 diesel van wont start.

Just had exactly the same problem with my Kangoo, the bolt had come loose on the bottom crank pulley and the alternator belt came off, unfortunately, as I have found out, this allows the cam belt pulley to move on the shaft and the timing will have slipped and this almost certainly causes damage to valves, pistons etc. I'm just about to strip mine down to find the damage.
Not good news but hope it helps to find the problem.
Fraser.
