Question about 1996 Honda Accord

96 accord blinker short?

This happens when the car is both on and off. key in and key out. the passenger side blinker will not stop blinking. fuse is good and both bulbs obviously work since they're flashing. does anyone know how to fix this? the only way to shut it off is to unplug the hazard plug or the battery but i kinda need my blinkers lol. thanks.

ok played with it long enough and finally figured out the problem. the hazard switch was stuck in just enough to trigger one turn signal so i popped it the rest of the way out and now everything's good. thanks for the help guys.

page 2 see that.
are the 2 blink/has fuses good. test good not just LOOK good
after all if a feed is shorted you will blow both. (tested)

the blinker module ,usually dont fail
its electronic and robust.
fuses good, then
the black wire ground cut or rusty a body
G200 it uses, and if bad usually kills the engine.
yellow-white must be 12vdc blinks on. key on
switch is bad. i bet this is ok
the relay green is OUTPUT
if the blinker has power it clicks
if it green wire flashes with test lamp the blinker module is good
if the output of the blinker switch is dead L and right
the switch is bad.
assumes both left and right sides not shorted. to ground.

On a chevy traverse i cant get the windows to work. i cant get key out of ignition, and right rear blinker doesnt work

Fuse under the right passenger dash. Fifth up on the right (blue 15 amp). It is called BCK/UP/STOP. All the same symptoms short in wiring harness for the trailer package caused the windows not to function, the right rear turn signal had no power, and the key was stuck in the ignition.

'96 cadillac eldorado left blinker blinks fast

Have you checked to see if you have a blinker out? If you do, then thats your problem. If not, check your blinker fuses. Hope this helps, James Booth.

Water is coming into the passenger side of my 96 honda accord

Yes, it's the ac drain tube as you suspected. Look under the car (you'll have to raise it and support it so you can go under it) there is a small drain tube on the passenger side. You need to insert a small flexible wire to remove the blockage. This is a rather common problem.

BLINKERS JUST STOPPED WORKING

most of these cars have a short in the rear sockets. Here's a few other things you can check. If your hazard's don't work either?, check the flasher relay. If they do? then your rearview sockets are bad, cut them off from the wires, pick up another socket with wires from your nearest junkyard, splice in using two brand new bulbs and use the electronic connector Grease, the sell @ autozone.
