Ford escape radio

There is a fuse you could probably reach, its located up and under your radio. It may also be a wiring problem, tug, lightly on a few wires and see if one is loose, and look for any corrosion. If its not one of those then I dont know what to tell you. Good luck.

I replaced the alternator a few days ago..forgot to disconnect battery and heard a short somwhere..now my stereo and dashboard lights dont turn on..fuses are fine..

BAD BAD BAD, i keep telling people, the FIRST thing you do when working on electrical, is to disconnect the power.......well, it has to be a fuse, some radios have another fuse behind the radio assembly itself, requiring you to remove the radio out, and check for voltage behind, the lights also run on an accessory fuse, for illumination lights, let us know how you go

Radio wont work in 1996 camry

I dont think there is a separate fuse other than in the fuse panel. some radio's may have one in back of the radio but I'm not sure about yours.

Fuses

There should be a legend on the fuse box cover or printed on the box itself. Sometimes the put the radio through the ACC fuse space.

Wipers, radio and front panel dont work

yeah its more that likely a fuse in your fusebox...check all your fuses in the cabin and also in the engine compartment. you can usually tell if they are blown by seeing if the little wire inside of the fuse is melted. or go to wal mart and get a BUSS fuse test kit.

Radio fuse on 1997 Geo Metro

the appropriate fuse is blue (15A) and is third or fourth from the side of the car (the narrow end). Look at the fuse box cover.
