Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
My airbag indicator light goes on while i'm driving...repeatedly..will this make my inspection fail, which is due at the end of this month. I've checked the fuses and they're good, i've tried removing the fuses to see if the airbag light goes off, but it doesn't...i thought maybe if i remove them then i can still pass the inspection...but didn't work...the light still came on...how can i fix this without taking it to a dealership, or bypass it enough to pass my inspection...
I dont know of any state that fails a vehicle for an airbag light but it would be wise to get the system checked out. it means there is a problem with the airbag system and itis possible it will not deploy during an accident or it may deploy without warning. the most likely cause would be a bad clockspring
