Question about 2004 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe
2004 g35 coupe: both windows went down when just unlocking the car. now the passenger will not operate at all, drivers does work just fine, I do not think this is a motor or switch issue. I believe it is a "training" type issue with the :auto" electronics or an issue with the body control module. Help..........MrBill1954
Well you can put key in door turn to lock hold few secs to see if that will move window up. try helping glass up, if does not move at all then not training issue, if moves part way then retrain it.

it could be the motor or the window switch, go ask a stereo shop if the can test your switch or to see if there is power going to the window motor

This is a stereo we see in shop for repair on a regular basis, see www.carstereohelp.com for repair. However, I have one suggestion before thinking of repair. Disconnect one of the main car battery terminals for several minutes. This is much easier then removing and reinstalling the stereo in this car. This may act as a reset and bring the changer back. Otherwise, repair is needed.

The stock radio system is three pieces. You have the outer display, behind that is the audio circuit board, and behind that is the actual radio, which looks like a plain square silver box. The shifter knob should have a piece on the bottom that snaps in. That piece slides down and there is a gold cotter pin that holds the shifter knob on. Remove the cotter pin with a small screwdriver and the knob will lift off. In order to remove the radio you have to remove the shifter knob, the console trim in front of the arm rest, and the radio trim should just unsnap and come out. If you are wanting to install a aftermarket radio, I would consult with a car audio store as to what is involved with this installation, because you are likely to get in over your head.

Just pop out the side marker from where the marker meets the fender well and push outward on the side marker. It has a metal clip retaining it to the bumper.
This entry was in January, most likely you figured it out already.
