Question about 2002 Audi A4
I bought an Audi A4 model Avant 3.0 V6 No WAUZZZ8E43A231741 in December 2002 with a GPS ''navigation plus'' ref # AUZ1Z186484097.
This GPS has a failure and I contacted AMAG Swizterland in order to repair it. I was very suprised by their poor support. The answer of AMAG was that this item can't be repaired but only exchanged for an amount of CHF 2'248.-. Very disappointed by this answer, I open the GPS bx myself and discover that the source of the problem is the thread of the commutator which was broken.
I contacted then the manufacturer of this part the American company Grayhill giving the refernece of this item. The answer was that this connector is a propriatery part specifically done for Audi. I would then appreciate to know where I can procure this part. PLease find bellow the answer of Grayhill:
Below item is proprietary to another customer.
Pls contact Audi dealer or Grayhill German distributor for more information:

2800.00 for an oil pump? Sounds expensive. Is it only for the pump or is other work involved? There are hoses that deteriorate that have to be replaced and an engine flush that usually goes with that repair. Also your engine may have to be replaced if there is bearing damage to the camshafts or crankshaft. This is a common problem with 1.8T's. You are not the original owner,so are you repairing the car from the selling dealer? It make a difference when your trying to get assistance. You also must have proof that all services were completed, preferably by a dealer. If you have all that and still only offer half take it and be happy!

well do you have documentation that you changed the oil every 4 thousand miles or less? If you do the the dealer should cover the expenses. If you did not do the oil changes as required or do not have the proof then the dealer is being more than fair as the failure would be because of your lack of maintenance.
