Question about 1999 GMC Jimmy
I have a 91 c2500 the switch is stuck on I can start the truck un able to turn it off the switch will not turn. does the switch need replacing or could it be another problem
If you can shut the engine off the shift linkage may not be aligned and that makes it not able to fully turn back if it is stuck completely on the switch is probably messed up and would need to be replaced either way you will need to take the column apart and it is easily done with a few tools that are not very expensive. if you need the name of the tools let me know and I can help you through the tear down and repair.
