SOURCE: knock sensor location
I'm trying to find this as well...
I've been told its on the back of the engine above the oil filter, however, I cannot locate it...
I have the replacement sensor from Autozone in my hand ($104.XX) yet cannot find where it is supposed to go. There is a random bolt above a freeze plug, I'm wondering if it is supposed to be in that location. Not sure that this is even the original motor... eek!

It is no a job for a do it yourselfer. I recommend taking it to a qualified repair shop. The heater core is mounted under the dash in the evaperator/heater case and it is a very involved job to disassemble and reassemble the correct way. Sorry.

There should be a small wire harness on the inside of the driver side tow hook under the bumper. The chord is very short and has a cap over the plug. Just reach in and you'll find a black cable about 1/2" thick. There's another wire tapped into it that has the plug end.
