Air conditioning and blower stopped working, all fuses checked good.Is there a common feed to these two circuits?

The answer is that there is dirt dust and fuzz built up in the brushes of the blower motor. Had to figure this one out myself. Remove glove box, carefully disassemble bottom of blower motor, remove brush cap and brushes clean up mess and reassemble. Not for a novice but if you're a thinker you can figure it out. Mine has worked every time since. The Pontiac guys had no clue wanted to replace motor.

The blower motor stops working sometimes on my 2007 Hummer H3. Sometimes you can turn the ignition off and wait a little while, then restart it and the blower starts working.

I had the same problem and sloved it with the help of google images, hummer blower motor resistor. Under the glove box the blower motor resistor can be found. It comes loose and the blower will work at times. When I reached under and pushed the connector in, it works fine. It was fixed within minutes. I am a gal with a Hummer and save myself a huge dealer bill. Good Luck!

I bought the new blower motor resistor for my 95 nissan maxima. what are the steps to install the new resistor ? Im not a mechanic but have no choice but to try and do this myself. thanks

The blower resistor should look like a credit card if it is manual air and it is located near the blower motor. Remove connector and then two screws and it should slide out. Replace with the new one. If you have auto air then the blower motor is regulated by a fan control amp which is located behind the glove box.

Lincoln 2000 town car Blower doesn't work at HI-MED-LOW speeds...

it is called blower motor resistor , should be close to blower motor , you will see a plug type connector with two screws , remove the screws and there should be a resistor inside the cover for the motor, swap with new and reassemble

take the blower motor out of your way first its easier to manage. there are 9/32 bolts holding both the motor and resistor up. there are two bolts on the resistor itself. one in the front and one in the back. the one it back is tough. have to cram your socket in there against the rubber just to get at it.

Hope this fixs it. jeff

Only have blower motor come on in 3 speeds, 3rd 4th and 5th.

this sounds like its the resistor in the blower motor. the motor will have to come out then you might be able to fix or replace..call the dealer for estimate
