It sounds like you are saying that you replaced or rebuilt the engine. If you did make sure that all the connectors are plugged in. The crankshaft position sensor will cause the engine to not have spark. Let me know if you can think of anything else that may help me help you.

About the only way to test the coils is to removed one spark plug wire at a time and leave it close to the coil (do not hold the wire, it will hurt). Try to start the engine for each wire removed. If you have no spark then the ignition coil module may be defective. There is no way to test it and its not cheap. I would check all other sensor and parts before you buy the module. I have seen the module go bad several times. I really think this may be your problem. Sorry I took so long to reply. I hope this is helpfuel.

How to replace motor mounts on a 2004 buick lesabre

The easy way to check is to have to hood open and start the car. Shift from reverse to drive without taking your foot off of the brake and watch the engine trough the opening at the back of the hood.

Car will run great 3 times it just quit. I checked #1 coil wire no spark pluged it back in started right up and ran great. and several times after turning off key it would crank but not start, let it

Have it scanned looking for diagnostic codes. Sounds like you could have a crankshaft or camshaft sensor problem, which will be a simple fix.

I would take it back. If camshaft is damaged, it will be expensive fix. Lifters going bad at 88k indicates neglect.

My 1991 buick lesabre this morning showed the coolant temperature light on the dashboard when i opened my hood steam was visibly coming off the engine block...i waited 30 minutes then opened the radiator...

It's either the radiator is blocked and needs to be flushed or changed,or the thermostat (the temperature regulator) is blocked and needs to be changed.
