SOURCE: temp sensor and compass not displaying on my 2003 yukon xl

Yes. Look in the Fuse Panel inside the Truck. Use a Good Maglight or LED Flashlight and Hold it Behind the Fuses to see the Blown Ones. It is usually in an AUX Outlet. Also check thr Fuse Relay Box under the Hood for a Blown Fuse using the Same Method. See if there is a Relay for this also. If so, Replace it. Let me know if you need any more Help! there is one fuse for all the dash gauges, so chances are you have a wiring problem to the gauge sender on the engine or the gauge is defective, which is rare.

All the gauges work off the same circuit, so if the temp gauge is not working then all the gauges should be inop as well if the problem is the power to the gauges.

Ensure that your Outside Temp Sensor is in the correct place, installed near the radiator on the lower portion of the vehicle, under the hood.
