2002 Mazda Tribute. Can a water pump still leak after sealant solution?

Question edited for clarity
Question moved to category.

Water leaks don't cause overheating unless there is no, or very little coolant..

Air locks cause overheating.
Failed water pumps cause overheating.
Blocked radiators cause overheating.
Stuck thermostats cause overheating.

1990 couger has a few problems at the moment im tring.to.get fixed the importain one at the moment is a water leak from the passanger side of the water pump at least thats where it looks like it comming...

If the pump leaks when it is running it indicates a failed water pump seal. Ther is a drain hole in the housing that allows water to run out before it damages the bearing. Check for corrosion holes in the pump body under the impellor. It is not good policy to buy cheap after market pumps as they have an inferior casting that needs a lot of anti corrosion additive in the water to last .

Overheating, small water leak don't know where it is leaking could be water pump

Water pump has a small 'weep' hole that is probably leaking-an internal seal is now leaking though this weep hole and the only fix it to replace the water pump.

My 1998 buick century is leaking coolant from the engine where the water pump is mounted.

it could be a loos hose clip or the water pump, there is a gasket behind the water pump this could be leaking as well there is a quick fix you could try if its a clip or gasket leaking it should stop the leak, but it wont stop a water pump leaking ,,,,,,,,,,,
get some "rad seal" and tip it into the rad,,,not the header tank it go's right into the rad then top it up with water and run up the engine itll its hot after a short time the leak should stop,,fords put it in all there new cars and vans that come out there fatctorise,, so if its good for them to use it,, it must work?

Antfreeze leak not allowing belt to get traction where might the antifreeze be coming from and how can fix it

check all the hoses. next, check the water pump, should be behind the fan. If the bearings have gone bad in the water pump, it can sometimes leak coolant everywhere.

1998 chevy monte carlo leaking coolant

It's a 99% chance of water pump leak or the housing at the timing chain that the water pump sits on.
Water pumps can and do leak one minute then seal themselves.
A cheap fix most use is go to a 7 lb pressure cap on the rad.

No, what you're seeing is the weep hole leaking on the water pump. This is the warning sign that the water pump is worn out. Don't use any stop leak or anything to attempt to stop it. You'll be waisting your time. You'll have to replace water pump at this point.
