Question about Mitsubishi Lancer
I recently bought a 1988 s10 pickup that is great except for one random problem, sometimes it won't turn off. The key won't turn back towards me. The only way I can turn it off is by turning the key up and the starter-screech happens, then I can turn the key towards me and turn off the truck.
The gears are a bit uncoordinated too. The old automatic gear lineup being: P, space, reverse, neutral, drive, d3, d2, d1. I have to shift into the blank space for reverse, into reverse for neutral, N to drive, drive for d3, d3 for d2. Only thing is I can feel the truck go into idle when I put it into park.
Also a s10 owner, my truck shuts off when i put it in park...yours is your shift cable ..adjust cable (without running) p,r,n,d and so on, making sure your indicator is in correct spot.
