I have a 91 thunderbird that did the same thing. There's a white connecter under the steering wheel cover that if its undone the car won't run.

SOURCE: I have a 1988 ford ranger that I bought for $150.

First pour some gas down the intake(just a small sipp)and crank it,if it starts you have a fuel distribution problem. If it dont, there is an ignition problem.

SOURCE: The Battery test good , the voltage regulator is

see diagram below. There is a fusible link between the starter relay and the battery. If that link has blown, it is preventing the alternator from charging. This link may be in the relay box or may just be that the wire has burned up. Let me know if this doesn't fix it.

2009 451 Passion. Why a frequent dead battery?

That is definitely wrong, not normal. Voltage should stay at 14 volts or near that until the battery is close to fully charged, then will slide down to about 13.5 volts, and stay there while engine is running. Also, a fully charged battery should show about 12.6 volts at a minimum, especially a new battery.
I don't know what is going on with your system. Take it back to Merc- were they aware of how it is acting, voltage-wise? Doesn't sound like it. One small possibility: is your alternator belt not tight enough?

My villager would not start unless I jump it. As I drive the abs light comes on and the car feels like its going to stall. I put it in park and it died.

If you have to jump the battery, then either the altenator or voltage regulator (built in altenator) is bad. Most part stores will test it for free. Even in the vehicle. Either the altenator/regulator is bad, or there is a short draining the battery.
The is a seperate issue. Could be bad abs pump or circuit which will have to be diagnosed with a code scanner or engine diagnostic machine just for abs systems.

99 avalon starts runs fine shut off wont start unless jumped then continues to start several tinn=mes until this happens again?

Sounds like either the voltage regulator or altenator is bad. Most part stores will test altenator, battery, and starter for free in the vehicle or out. Double check relays and cable connections

Electrical Problems

Al, this truck has a regulator locted inside the altenator, it also has a relay located in the power distribution box under the hood, see your owners manual for exact location, to verify an no charging problem, start the truck and measure the voltage at the battery, it should read 13.5v-14.5v, if not then the altenator is not working, most common problem is regulator failure requiring altenator replacement, hope this helps, let me know

I have a 1994 firebird Lt1 i was driving down the road and all my gauges stated jumding and the cheak gauges light came on and the car got quiet i lost power the dash went dark and want start does anyone...

either your altenator went, or you have loose battery cable/connection or lastly, possibly voltage regulator is out. Start car, remove battery cable. car should still run with cable disconnected. If altenator is good. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

1989 corvette: battery losing voltage, hard to start and stalls

I dont know much about corvettes But if the voltage regulator is in the altenator it could be sticking drawing voltage even if the car is not running. Dis connect the plug in overnight and see if it starts in the morning if it does the regulator is sticking shut replace the alternator

Where is the voltage regulator located on 92 chevy lumina euro

the voltage regulator is built into the altenator if the vehicle runs fine after jumping it it may be the battery or a bad connection at battery there may also be a draw on the battery
