MY PLYMOUTH GRAND VOYAGER 'S HEADLIGHT'S AND DASH LIGHTS WORK, BUT THE ENGINE WON'T TURN OVER. THERE IS NO SPARK COMING FROM THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.

When you say no spark, are you talking about the spark plugs, or just the general wiring?

If the engine won't turn over, then it isn't moving, and if it isn't moving then you need to check the following in this order:

1) Does the battery have power i.e. around 12.4 volts or over? No? Charge, test or replace battery.

2) Do the car's head lights dim considerably if turned on when attempting to crank? Yes? Possible lack of battery charge or faulty battery.

3) Assuming the battery is fine, can you turn the dash warning lights on and off with the key? No? Faulty ignition switch.

4) Is there a click sound when you turn the key, but no starter motor spin? Check starter motor connections or replace starter motor.

If none of the above prove to be of help, then please report.

1993 grand voyager won't start

anti theft malfunction. seriously put your ear near the filler neck uncapped and have someone turn the key. is there s whining. then that rules out a bad fuel pump> try carefully priming the injectors with fuel and then crank. standby with a garden hose in the even it backfires and pukes out the fuel. remove a plug wire and put any plug in the boot rest it against the valve cover have someone cranlk and looks for spark. 2 main causes for no start lack of fuel, lack of spark

1997 Grand Voyager 3.0 replaced wires, plugs, cap and rotor. Now van acting crazy feels like its power surging and its intermittenately stalling as well.........wires maybe mixed up???

Yes it sounds like you mixed up the plug wires. The firing order is 1 2 3 4 5 6. Pretty simple to remember. The cylinders are 1 3 5 on the firewall side with number one being the front cylinder (Where the belts are). The radiator side cylinders are 2 4 6 with 2 being the front cylinder.

How to replace an alternator on a plymouth grand voyager

well what kind of engine you have? on 3.0L the alternator is at the front right side of the engine on the top. there are two bolts to remove one you can see just by looking at it but the other one is in the back and you cant see it. just feel with your hand where is it and you socket n rachet and remove it and disconnect the wire that are connected to the alternator. CAUTION: before you remove the bolts take the belt off by turning the belt tensioner clockwise. hope it helps.

Neither the radiator or condenser fans are working on my 1991plymouth grand voyager LE, 3.3L, although they will if hotwired. I'm trying to find the fusible link for them, but don't know what it looks...

What about the relays, did you check them too?
Fusible links are just wires that feel a little more rubbery on the coating, for lack of a better description.

Have your van checked for alignment, camber and have those front tires balanced.
