Question about BMW 325
I changed out my tail lights. All my lights work except the driver side brake light. The main reason why I bought new ones because the old ones were going bad. On the old set I had the same problem (driver side brake light). I replaced the brake switch under the brake pedal too. I also checks the fuses and everything looks good. I also tested the driver side lights with the passenger lights and they checked out good. I think I have a problem in the wiring...any ideas?
Test the circuit board for power where the socket goes in. If there is power there you might have a bad socket. BMW's are good for that. The socket contacts corrode away and make no contact to the circuit board. I am guessing the new lights came with new sockets right. Look at the connector at the circuit board for corrosion and clan the contacts there too.
