On your tensioner there is a square hole. You can put a 3/8 drive ratchet with out any socket in that hole and press down on tensioner belt will become loose to slip off pulleys. Replace in reverse following belt routing diagram. Good Luck. If I fixed ya leave me a FIX YA. HERE IS YOUR DIAGRAM http://www.2carpros.com/car_repair_information/tec_info/2002/pontiac/grand_am/2002_pontiac_grand%20am_drive_belt_routing_diagram.htm

Where is timing belt located on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am

nowhere. it has a timing chain that should last forever as long as you keep your oil in good shape. doesn't matter if you have a 4 cylinder or a v6, they both use chains.

Worn belt on a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan

should not have to remove anything you just put a wrench on the belt tensioner and it moves over. then remove and replace the belt. make sure you draw a belt diagram first if there isn't one under the hood.

hope this helps.
please rate good.
