You can try unhooking the neg battery cable for about 5 minutes then rehook it. this will allow the instrument cluster to attempt to identify the fog lamps being there. if that dont work you may have to have the dealer go in and configure the modules to tell the computers they are there

2010. How do I replace a fog light lamp?

The light unit either snaps in from behind or has a couple of screws that you can remove to get access to the bulb. From there you can unplug the harness and replace the fog light. Put the screws back and you should be good to go.

Location of foglight wiring harness

The Easiest Way is to Get the Wiring Harness Diagram with the Colors and Verify that you plugged the Fog Lights into the Correct Harness. I once had a FORD that had a Fuse BOX that had a FOG LIGHT and No Power to that Fuse.

Make sure you test the Fuse at the Box and then Trace the wires and if the Switch was wired at the Factory, you should be all set

How do i find the wire that is blowing the fuse that goes to the dash, park, fog lights. I have taken the dash apart and can't find the problem. What is the problem

If you do have fog lights, thats where to start. Any outside wiring. follow the wiring back from the fog lights checking at any clamps or tight turns. If they are 2 wire harness to each side you need to check those harness at each clamp. If you do not have fog lights, check under the hod at the fuse/ relay box. You are looking for a cut in the main harness. Have you had any belt problems? Alternator belt fraying? Belts can fray and parts will whip the wiring harness very hard. Check these places for your short.

Have a 2008 nitro just purchased used without fog lights but the fog grates are there on the bumper. Can hubby cut out the grates for the fogs and install them himself? Are there instructions somewhere on...

They want that much because they have to replace the valance and paint it, the one with fog lights has a special brackets for them, Check to see if there is a nut on the back side of the fog light if there is you can just remove it, the fog lamps cost $110.00 each so thats 220 dollars and they use a special light switch that costs $60.00 thats why it's so much, plus have to wire it in if the Dodge did not come with the lights it may not have the wires for the harness to run the lights. So you will have to run a new relay intothe relay box switch and wires and a fuse to do it, even if you buy the factory lights and add a switch and relay your talking about $300.00
