Question about 1990 Ford Probe
My son bought the car with over 100K miles. He had trouble with the car cranking so he would mash down on the clutch and the car would crank. Yesterday that stopped working. It seems to me that there might be a sensor that senses the clutch is depressed before you can turn the key. Is there such a sensor or is it something else.
Your absolutely rite that is a safety feature! so the car will not take off in gear if you forget to put clutch down to disengage it so no one will get ran over! maybe your natural safety switch is gone! or the starter motor.
