If the dealer is only 5miles away and you put in 4 ltrs you should be fine. Check for leaks in the oil pan,gasket, or rear main seal. Burning oil will cause the black smoke that you are seeing.

If you low oil light is not illuminated it is ok to drive to the dealer. Putting 4 quarts in might have overfilled it leaving it to leak overboard on engine. You did not say that the smoke was coming from the tail pipe.
