Question about 2002 Pontiac Aztek

2003 pontiac aztek.. car has been running perfect .. stopped last night to pick up a pizza. and when i returned to my car, i am unable to move my gear shifter out of park. the car is running fine .. nothing else appears to be wrong..

The wiring on the shifter is bad. this happened to me as well. It cost about $50 to fix.

can't remember which fuse it was on mine, but the real problem was the switch itself. the wires on the back of the switch actually melted together. starts out with one position not working and then gets worse from there.if it keeps burning fuses, check that out. it's common on pontiacs in general

the water stopped because the washer fluid resovoir is EMPTY, check the fuse bo for the wiper fuse , see your owners hand book

sounds like a short somewere for the rpm gauge as for the speedo it sounds like the cable could have broke or streched

2001 Pontiac Aztek sunroof will not close after it retracs open.


I was just at the shop because my Aztek sunroof wouldn't work. The tech held down the open button for 30 seconds & let go, then it started working again perfectly ! He said it had to be reset. He said it happens when your battery goes dead, & I told him I replaced the battery & that's when it stopped working, There was no charge !

it sounds as if you have a master cylinder problem I would have it tested and possibly replaced
