Question about 1996 Chevrolet Blazer
I have a multiple missfire code coming up on my 96 s-10 blazer i have put new plugs/wires/cap and rotor button. i also put in a fuel injector spider but the car is still back firing? i also put in a new distributor but still having the same problem it will not idle and is back firing what else could it be?
I know this is an old post, but I am aware that a lot of people have similar problems.
I am having a misfire problem myself. I found that my head gasket had been leaking and the engine coolant had corroded my valve seats.
If you have this problem the two best things for you to start with is a compression test on the cylinders and a fuel pressure test. This is assuming you have had a tune up.
