Question about 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Items replaced tensioner assembly/ idler pulley/ power stearing pump and pulley/ belt/ water pump just before i bought by like two mounths ago
for some reson it wants to keep shreading belts and i cant figure out why if you can help me i would apreasheate it thanks
Assuming that everything else is OK, first, sight down the belt/pulley arrangement and make sure that everything is aligned correctly. If the pump pulley is not lined up and the pump is a remanufactured unit, it is possible that they pressed the pulley either too far, or not far enough onto the pump shaft. (any machine shop can correct this). If any other pulley is in or out too far, either the component is incorrect or shims are needed to get proper alignment.
