It sounds to me like you have a bad sensor somewhere.
Problem is there are so many it would be almost impossible to tell you which one.
When you start a car cold, it is in open loop until it reaches operating temperature, meaning not all of your sensors are being monitored.
When you get up to temp, and go into closed loop, one of your sensors is most likely giving a DTC.
Btw is your service engine light on?
Best advice i can give you is take it to a shop and have them hook a scan tool up to it, and check your codes and your sensors.

Hopefully this narrows down your problem a little more.

Car runs and drives but 10-15 miles it dies and wont run until cools off

Dear Sir,
As you said your car stop after 10-15 miles run.and start working after 10 to 15 min wait.
It can occur due a part or unit which defer working according to temperature. it means it stop working when it got hot and start working when it get cold. this type of parts are motors which have winding unit inside it, which can stop working in high temperature, it will not happen if they are good working condition but if that is got short then it can happen.
In your case cause is the fuel pump which is in fuel tank,Till it is cold it supply the fuel to engine but after few miles run it stop sending fuel to engine ,after wait for 10 to 15 it again start sending fuel to engine when it get cold.
Fuel pump will solve your problem. if any issue please let me know. Thanks.

Mitsubishi space star (x reg) stalling on idling and on stopping

This problem apears when the battery has been diconected for some time. Start the car, and leave in in idle without driving it for about 10 min. The car runs fine after that.

2000 VW Beetle dies occasionally and won't start for a while

run a scan tool on it and make sure there are no codes, if there is codes address those problems first, if no codes.. next time it won't start check for fuel preasure. it is probably a fuel pump getting ready to go out or they may be a large amount of something other than gas clogging the pick-up sock at bottom of fuel pump.

Car starts but turns off after a 10 min or so.

This definitely sounds like a fuel pump/filter issue. Good news if it's the filter, it's only about 10 dollars to buy a new one and about 5 minutes labor, including jacking up your car.

Fuel pumps cant be a pain in the arse at times, others are fairly easy. Best way to determine if it's the fuel pump, run over to Canadian tire and pick up an ohms meter. Test the fuel pump that way.

Security SystemProblem.

clarify me(my home languege is not english),starter is not turning(work)!?and you have a good battery so the TWICE(imobiliser) is the problem!
But if the starter turns, can be crankshaft sensor, fuel pump, fuel pump relay.
Connecting the TECH2 is the best to start diagnostic

Shuts off

That may be good advice, and if you've had so many warnings about cat.converter, why hasn't it been done if it's been confirmed? Lots of backpressure, can cause head gaskets etc to start blowing, not to mention decreased performance & gas mileage. Even if you check into an approved aftermarket replacement it can't be too expensive. The other thing I would check, is the fuel pressure, as I suspect a fuel pump problem, or at least a plugged filter. I've had same thing on one of my vehicles would run fine when cool, then about half hour later, or sooner, depending on outside temperature, it would die. Sit 20-30 min, and fire up & go for another 10-15min. I ended up carrying a fuel pressure gauge with me, and sure enough, once the fuel pump got warmed up or hot, the pressure dropped right off. Changed pump and all was well. You may have to drive it for a while, then let it run for a good while in the repair shop parking lot to replicate symptoms. That way they can have fuel pressure gauge hooked up and see reading when it happens, to confirm or eliminate that as the problem.
