Without doing a lot of checking, it's hard to tell whats wrong. If you haven't already, replace the plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, and have the timing checked. Also have the ignition control module checked.

Have a 2003 Isuzu rodeo 6 clyinder 4wheel . Starter turns over a little longer before cranking. Done tune up, changed out fuel regulator but still dose the same ,what is my problem . t

a little longer before cranking.

what does that mean?

dont crank,
cranks slow.
cranks (Fast) called normal.
cranks fast starts, then stalls.
cranks fast, starts easy, starts, runs and stays running, normal
at what point does it fail, and how exactly.

we can't hear it, or watch you, so...................................

Act like out gas when you first start it

stalls (or misfires) tune up time, ever heard of a 60k mile service?
and get and injector balance test, sounds like they leak,
and the starts are doing so from the flooded state.

no crank.
repeat that again. the key switch has many posisitions
no (this era) car cranks, in the non run or start position so?
my guess, is the start position (spring loaded it is) is intermittant
and when starting you wiggle key , in the ST posistion and the starter
motor wakes up. this is a bad ignition switch, which love to go bad
with huge key rings, (heavy)
if car is A/T tranny, wiggle the shifter any time it dont crank
and, try starting in Neutral (fresh switch contacts there)

Stalls is a 2nd symptom and if the dash lights dont die.
then is not related to the ignition key switch.
that is the 12vdc power system is good and the EFI/engine has issues
try a tune up first. (its in the operators guide read that)

after tune up and drive 20-50 miles
now using any newer OBD2 scan tool scan the PCM.
got DTC'S? post them. DTC are ERRORS.

Trouble staying started, then won't crank on Geo Metro 1997

old post, but others might find it useful.
sounds like you cranked the battery dead. huh?
1problem is not 2.
why it dont start is comlex.
ever check compression,
ever put in new timing belt at 60,000 miles (every)
ever tune it up, ? and for sure every 60k, per the op. guide in glove box>?

I change the cam and crank sensor and the van stills bucks when drive it normal.

Is this the starting point for your repair? Change the Cam? Or did you first do a good and compete tune up? This is the first step ... a tune up.

A complete tune up is everything necessary to return the vehicle to original operating charastics.

Hard to give you specific advice when you dont list the model or year or any other symptoms.

Thank you.

Cuts off when it rains but cranks back up

you may have bad sparkplug wires, when was the last time you had the car tuned up, sounds like it may be time for a complete tune up.

Got 1988 buick park ave.car wouldnt start,hooked

You may have damaged the starter when the engine kicked back.

The ignition module may have been defective.....but change the crank pickup too.........more likely it is the cause of the problems.

Change the crank pickup at every tune up..........it has a high failure rate.

If your engine has 250km or 150K miles you may need a chain soon.
