Where is an alternative vin number 2002 toyota camary other than windshield and drivers door?

When you say 'chassis number' do you mean an identification code for the 'body'? If so, here's a quote from a manual (2003 Wrangler) :

BODY CODE PLATE
A metal body code plate is attached to the floor pan
under the drivers seat. Disengage the snaps
attaching the carpet to the floor pan to read the
information. There are seven lines of information on
the body code plate. Lines 4, 5, 6, and 7 are not used
to define service information. Information reads from
left to right, starting with line 3 in the center of the
plate to line 1 at the bottom of the plate...

The engine number is the 8th digit in the VIN which for this should be a B 2.4L.

you dont say what type of fuse it is toyota changed the fuse types a couple of times if its a spade type buy a new one and take a good look at it, because the alternator puts a lot of amps the fuse will be 25 to 30 amps.Please note before you attempt to carry out this procedure disconnect the battery,your old fuse is most likly melted so it might neet a bit of TLC to get it out ;look at the new one and see how it fits this will give you a fair idication how to proceed ,if you get it out without breaking it proceed and fit new fuse;lets pause for thought why did it happen in the first place,i think a new or good second hand alternator might be the way forward.adrian

mmmm from what i can recall 2 screws in arm rest (two small holes underneath arm rest hides the screws)take these out also one in door handle trim behind handle, And the window winder if you look close in the gap between window winder and door trim you should be able to see a curbed metal pin this holds winder in place so to remove it get a knife ( thin blade will fit in between winder and trim) and push on the end bit of the metal pin and it should spring off and then door handle can be removed. After this run your hands around door trim gently pulling around all edges ect this will pull door trim away from supports
