Your on the right track with the fuel pump test, chanses are its the pump thats went out. its best to have two people one to turn key and one to listen out side of car, the best way to hear if it runs. Now don't be fooled just because you hear the pump it can run and still not put out any pressure, thats ware the test comes in.

Yeah, The fuel pump can go bad . The normal warranty on the pump is 12 months or 12,000 miles. This is very rare . I would check if the fuel pump had a lifetime warranty.
I would also check the ignition switch, and all the fuses to make sure the fuel pump is the failure.
Good Luck

Did you try checking or replacing the coolant sensor? I think you should replace it along with the thermostat. Are there any problems like sputtering or any unusual noises or symptoms? Smoke, anything?
SOURCE: 92 GMC Jimmy Replaced fuel pressure and fuel
if you say you replaced the fuel pressure ? "regulator or pump" that was not very clear as to which so i am guessing and the filter but have no fuel to the fuel bar valve either you have no power to the pump or a clogged fuel line or a blown fuse or a short in the power suppluy to the fuel pump if you turn the key to on position without cranking it do you hear a slight humming noise if so the fuel pump is working ..if you do now hear this chances are as i stated above
the use of a test light is required to check for power to the pump as wel do you smell any gas =fuel lines are rotted .let ne know what you discover and check all your fuses

These have problems with injector faults. It will show up as a missfire. Identify which cylinder. One thing I saw that works is to have a true fuel injector cleaning done. This is done by a pressurized cleaner, bypassing the fuel pump and running solely off this cleaner. This used to be the TSB solution at the dealer prior to replacing the injector at fault. Do not let them do the "I.V." set up. All this does is **** cleaner(something similiar to blue water)through the intake. Not always effective. The pressurized system is truely effective. You will notice at least some improvement, if not totally. If it fails to fix the issue, you will be replacing injector/s. The reason this occurs is carbon build up and then the injector drops fluid instead of atomizing. Let me know if you need anything.
