Question about 2006 Volvo XC70
The w/pump was broken , so i did nopt mark the old belt with marks. i would like to know te marks on the camshafts pullies
FFirst of all you must replace the timing belt with new. The second problem you have is it sounds as if you have not set the engine, to the correct position before you removed the belt, it is very difficult to set the marks without everything moving together. If you move one camshaft without the other one moving in unison you will bend valves. I also need an engine code for the correct timing marks. as there are 2 options for this vehicle. It may be cost effective at this stage to employ a good technician to finish the job for you. But if you can give me the engine code i will send the info.
