Question about 2001 Kia Optima
I have a problem with my rear tire on the passenger side. When I go slow it seems that it is making a noise similar to 2 pieces of styrofoam rubbing together. When I speed up the noise dissapears, or maybe i just cant hear it anymore lol. Can anyone help me? Thanx.
Check your hub spindle(wheel bearings), I had to replace both mine at 70,000 miles, started making this roaring sound and we thought it was the tires. There is no way to grease the bearings, it's a complete sealed part that just wears out, easy to replace.

Testimonial: "Thanks that was the problem!"
First do a bounce test press down on the rear of the car and try to rack it up and down lessen for noise.
