There is a good chance it could be just the switch, or possibly a bad wire for the switch.

My directional signals and blower for air conditioning and heat doe not work, How do I know what is wrong

For blower motor failure, check 30A FUSE 9 in the I/P fuse panel. The speed selector resistor also could be defective as could the motor itself.

For directional signal failure, check 15A FUSE 5 in the I/P fuse panel but the lighting control module or multifunction switch also could be at fault.

My heater works on all levels except #5, what's wrong?

If you have manual controls for your blower, meaning a knob that you turn from 1 through 5, replace your blower motor resistor module. Very easy job and a common problem.

hello there:
there could be a couple of things wrong try checking you're blower motor to make sure you are getting any power to that point with switch turned to one of the lower setting if no power it could be the switch in the dash if there is power than it will more than likely to a bad fan blower...hope this helps you out sincerely D.Jones...

Blower moter in my 2002 pontiac grand prix was workin on 5 only then quit all together.Replaced the blower resister today now only works on 5 and when on 1,2,3,4 automatic lights dont work.Any one know...

If the blower motor is bad ,this would happen ,the setting 5 gives it full voltage, but on the lower speeds lower voltage, and if the blower is bad,it will not run.
