What would cause the horn on a 2005 lexus SC430 to stop working & is it easy to fix yourself or would it be cover under warranty?

Is it just me ? I don't really even see a question here really! it makes me wonder how some people can even drive thier vehicles never mind try to trouble shoot them...

You dont have to get them from LEXUS but in order to keep the sound at the same balance and quality, you should do that unless you want to replace all the speakers with other models.

You have to find out if the clockspring under
the steering wheel has a role there, or just the
horn button & still under the wheel issues

Take the Battery out of the fogg clean inside the fogg & the battery. I use emeryboard to clean the contact on the battery, put it back in the fogg & see if that fixed it. If not you need new battery. Dealer will charge you about $25.00 bucks to do this. I did it & it works Good luck Di

Ck power to horn under hood or in steering wheel

during long vacations, it is prefered to disconnect the battery ,to keep the charge ,just disconnect terminals starting by (-)ve ,this advice from batteries manufacturers.

Bulbs are never covered under warranty because they are a wear item (like tires). The factory might do a courtesy repair if the car was near new.
Order the bulbs online and install them yourself. I believe the bulb is D2s, you can find them online for $30-$60.
