There is a small button behind the brake pedal arm with one or two wires change it!!!!!!

Those metal clips are supposed to go through the holes in the calliper pins.

Brake switch (stop light switch). need to be replace
you can find it on the brake pedal.

Brake lights stay on unless you remove the fuse


Sounds more like a brake light switch.

Check connections at your switch and make sure the wires are all intact in the connector as well

How do I change brake pads on my 1999 ford escort?


pull the pins out. the clips hold them in place. use a large screw driver and seperate the pads from the rotors. pushing them away from the rotors to make room for the new ones. good luck
