Gas gague not working in 93 gmc sierra

The fuel level gage sending unit is defective, very common problem. The sending unit comes with a new fuel pump and is referred to as a module, also make darn sure you replace the fuel pump connector at the fuel tank, solder and shrink tube the new connector on, DO NOT USE CRIMP CONNECTORS.

Why does the fuel gague in my 1988 Honda accord always read full?

check to see if your fuel gauge is working by disconnecting the fuse from the panel, if gauge reads e then ground the fuel gauge if it reads full then the fuel gauge reads fine the its the float sensor in the fuel tank. good luck have fun

Fuel Gague register's empty even when full.

The sending unit is probably bad,and sounds like it will need to be replaced.

While I am driving my fuel gauge will drop to empty and then back to right spot. This makes the "ding ding" noise like I am low fuel. It seems to do it when I am half full to full range. Its real annouying

The Variable resistor in the fuel gague sender unit is worn down, which happens to all vehicles over time. Just replace it, and you should be fine.

Fuel gauge stuck on full for my 2000 ford taurus SE

it is probbally the fuel pump in the gas tank. It has a float like the one in your toilet and a sensor attached to it to tell you how much gas you have.

its not the pump bro. its probably the floater device that measure how much fuel you still have. most fuel tank uses this.

Full tank-fuel gague registers empty-need fuel light is on

There is a sending unit in the fuel tank that registers how much fuel there is. It is probably broken, giving you a funny reading on your gauge.
