Water in tranny drain fluid and put in new, autozone gave me wrong fliud drain again but now it jerks bad in gears?

mixing fluids can cause sludge build up, the jetking if from two problems 1) lack of lubrication due to sludge 2) lack of pressure due to a clogged filter. you need to flush the fluid from the transmission with new clean fluid and repace the filter on the tranmission, it should be located in the trransmission pan near the return line from the radiator.

Where do you check the transmission fluid?

PERFORM AN ELIMINATION OF ENGINE FLIUD CONTAINERS TO ACQUIRE THE TRANSMISION CHAMBER

The vehicle should only have an engine oil compartment, radiation compartment for antifreeze/ water, power steering fliuds, a water wiper blade spray dispenser compartment, and finally the transmittion fliud container area all situted within the engine entrapment area. Usually, opening the engine for the first time would require observing the fliud compartments that are identifyable from the remaining engine chambers. Observing closely on the fliud container should have written descriptions of what is expected within compartment. For example, the water fliud containers for wiper blades would usually have written lables as wiper blade fliud container, radiantion container would usually have the antifreeze demarkation logos visibly observable when engine is opened. Rely by elimination methods to ascertain the transmission fliud compartment. For example, once antifreze container, wiper water container, engine oild container, power steering fliud containers have been identified, the most like only remaining in the engine would be the transmition fliud compartment. Alternately, every fliud container within the vehicle engine is situated at separate areas. For example, the only fliud container closest to the transmittion chamber is the engine oil compartment. The vehicles usually require more engine oil than transmission fliud. Between both fliud containers, the smallest chamber for fliud oil is usually for transmission perposes in the absence of hydraulic fliud compartments with newer vehicles.

Transmissiom shifts hard from 2 to 3 and no overdrive

This stuff works GREAT! You can buy it at any local auto part store for about $12. I added it to my 2001 Sonata that was shifting had from 3 to 4 (on the highway). I copied this info from there website. Google it and you'll find tons of reviews, all of which are good.

What Is Lucas Transmission Fix?

Lucas Transmission Fix is a thermal stable blend of petroleum extracted additives. It contains no solvents or anything else that would be harmful to an automatic transmission. It contains a seal conditioner to help stop leaks around seals. It contains a polymetric film which is designed to stop worn bands from slipping. It allows the the transmission fluid to run cooler and controls foaming. It mixes with all automatic transmission fluids. It also contains lubricity agents for smooth, precise shifting. Lucas transmission fix extends existing transmission fluid life up to 3x.

What can Lucas Transmission Fix do for my vehicle?

  • Stops automatic transmission slip
  • Cleans and lubricates sticking valves for smoother shifting
  • Stops leakage around seals
  • Extends fluid life up to 3x
  • Extends the life of your transmission substantially
  • Protects your transmission under all severe service applications

How much Lucas Transmission Fix do I need?

One 24 ounce bottle is all you need. Lucas Transmission Fix will not fix a mechanically unsound transmission. If you have slipping and/or shifting issues this product will help.

All of the transmissiom fluid came out of the car.

Unless your comfortable pulling the transmission yourself take ti to the shop and have the seals replaced or the Torque converter. The only two places for fluid to come out between the engine and transmission is the Torque converter or forward seal on the transmission.

Inside the transmissiom pan their is a disc with hole in it like a donut , it is magnetic what is the purpose of this or is it a part that has fallen from inside the transmissiom

It is a safety device. If there are ANY grindings or shavings whatsoever in the transmission fluid, the magnet will trap them. It saves the transmission and lets you see if there is any damage.
