Timing cover is warn through I bet the guides are broken and it makes a knocking sound! most common problem. You will need a timing kit and a cover.

My 2006 toyota noah az engine I keep finding oil in the radiator

replace the radiator as the oil ( should be a pink color) is from a failed oil cooler in one of the radiator tanks that cools the oil from the transmission

I got a 1990 Toyota hilux with a 22r engine in it. i changed the head and the head gasket it had coffee coloured stuff in the radiator but the coolant & the coffee coloured stuff weren't sticking

This is oil and water mixed together from the damaged head gasket buy some radiator flush and flush cooling system and also do an oil change after a few miles.

When i start my 84 toyota truck 22r i notice white smoke coming out of the exhaust...

If your not overheating or losing coolant, its more than likely engine oil burning. If it is coolant related, possible blown head gasket.

Water in oil, 1991 toyota 22r

Water in the oil is caused by a warped cylinder head. When an engine overheats it causes expansion of the metal and stretches the bolts on the cylinder head. Water enters the oil by gaps in the gasket. You can try to fix it with some radiator sealer but if that doesn't help you have to remove the head. The shop will determine if it is salvageable and can give an estimate for repairs.

I noticed Antifreeze in the Oil at the oil pan gasket. What is the most likely issue?

Blown head gasket is the most likely ... do not ignore this ... have your mechanic look at it as soon as possible ... tomorrow is not too soon. This only gets worse and more expensive with every mile you drive.

Radiator 22r toyota

This sounds like a broken head gasket. Water is separated from the oil, but the oil is seeping through a crack or break in the gasket and getting into the water. This can plug up the radiator and prevent cooling system from working.

Head gasket is a good days work to even a weekend and requires a great deal of expertise and most of these have special tools for the head bolts.

I would get repaired as soon as possible, as water is getting into the oil as well and can vapor lock the engine.

Over heat some times but temp gage is saying its fine not head gasaet

not sure what exactly you are asking... if your temp gauge is normal with the motor up to normal temperature (210-211 degrees for dodge) and suddenly moves down to the cool mark like around 100-150 usually that indicates you are low or have no coolant. if your engine starts making knocking noises and pinging or sounds bad when this happens it is bad the motor is overheating.
to find out if it is the head gasket. let the engine cool down, remove radiator cap look if you see oil in the radiator (antifreeze is usually orange, red or green) if it is black or milky white in the radiator good chance it is a blown head gasket, check the oil if there is water in the oil, good chance it is a blown head gasket. leave radiator cap off make sure radiator is full start engine let temperature come up to normal keep everyone away from radiator, rev engine in the safety of the car if you have radiator fluid shooting out of the radiator like a geyser it is blown head gasket

Water/oil mixing in 22r engine

yes it can mix, also check the timing cover for rubs from the timing chain. this is the common problem with 22r. many mechanics will tell you its the block but they are just trying to make money.

Water in oil

I have yet to see a cracked head on a 22R,so more than likely a blown head gasket, unless you overheated and warped the head and worst case a hole between the cylinder wall and water jacket(this is pretty rare). The only way to tell short of using some expensive tools or taking to your local shop is to pull the head and inspect the gasket for leakage wich is generally fairly obvious(separation of the gasket layers, oil and water between water and oil passages)and checking the head deck for warpage. If there is obvious leakage in the gasket you're looking at a top end gasket set if the head is slightly warped you can get away with a thick graphite head gasket,I personally use these as they are very forgiving on slightly warped and scratched head decks and inepensive also, but a severly warped head will require milling at a machine shop or replacement.

Overheating and water mixed in with oil

Absolutely correct. Have cylinder head dye tested and checked for warpage before re-using. Do not run the engine any more than necessary ( into the garage or onto flatbed on it's way to shop) or you risk doing damage to engine bearings.
