I HAVE A 1995 FORD BRONCO EDDIE BAUER EDITION WITH THE 5.0L. I PUT NEW PLUGS FIRST, RAN FINE. THEN I PUT NEW CAP & ROTOR BUTTON, RAN FINE. THEN I PUT NEW WIRES ON AND WHERE THE WIRES GO ONTO THE PLUGS...

There is a technical bulletin isssued by ford in reference to the firing order on the 5.0 motors. I do not remember what cylinders they are but if you place certain wires running from certain cylinders they will arc and it is unpreventable. Try routing your wires a little different or taking the vehicle to ford, they should be aware of this issue.

My 96 bronco 5.8 stumbles on acceleration.

Did it spark well on all the plugs? Usually if you have no change in idle with two wires removed it needs a new set of spark plug wires. If it was cylinder 2 & 3 (side by side) then you should suspect a head gasket. Does the Bronco have multiple coils or a coil pack with multiple inputs? Are these two plugs hooked up to one coil?

What is the firing order for a 1984 ford bronco 2

1-4-2-5-3-6
Now you need to know which cylinder is which. If you stand at the front of the truck looking at the engine, the number 1 cylinder is on the left closest to you. The left bank has cylinders 1-3-5 and the right bank has 2-4-6. So number 1 is at the left front and number 6 is at the right rear.

Ignition Lock Cylinder

There is a small button that can be pushed near the lock cylinder when the key is in the ignition and turned, the cylinder can be pulled out then.
