Question about 2004 Suzuki Forenza
What does SSP mean. That light just came on in my 2004 suzuki forenza.
Speed sensor, not sure about the p, think it was position, anyway... its a small sensor located near the firewall on the steering shaft, it tell the power steering if it is needed, basically the power steering is only used at lower speeds and the faster you drive the less the power steering is used, guess it is supposed to give a more true steering feeling at higher speed when you don't need assistance to turn the wheel, I went to the junk yard and got one, had my mechanic put it on, and no problem since, Suzuki cost was closed to $100 I think, the steering shaft has to be pulled loose so the sensor can be put on, it looks like a doughnut,
