The fuel pump is working. I have fuel to the fuel rail, and it still won't crank. Fuses are fine. How do I fix this problem?

Have you checked the fuel pump relay to see if it is sending power to the pump ? The computer grounds the relay when the computer "sees" oil pressure or engine RPM.

Have a 2001 jaguar vanden plas. It won't start. It cranks fine battery is good but it won't turn over. I have been told could be fuel filter and or fuel pump. If you agree how do i change

To confirm that is is the fuel pump at issue here get a can of spray starting fluid and next time it won't fire up spray it into the air intake hose of the engine while someone cranks the engine over, if it lights right off then the pump may be the problem. A clogged fuel filter may cause loss of power but seldom if ever a no start.

Engine won't start - I have checked the following: no power to spark plugs. starter cranks over, fuel pump works, fuel is present at fuel injector, fuses and relays are fine

it sounds like the cam sensor is not turning, Pull the oil fill cap and look in to see if the rockers are moving up and down while the engine is cranking. If you cannot see this, try to remove the top cam gear plastic cover , or peek in there to see if the cam and belt are rotating during cranking. Your timing belt might be broken.

2001 Kia was running fine. Then just died. Engine cranks but will not start. What would be the most common causes? I figure it must be a electrical part?

sometimes the engine can still turn over with a minimal amount of power but not start... i reccomend getting the battery checked first if the battery is fine then the problem may be the fuel injection. if that is the case then you must first replace the fuel filter it is the cheapest. it is located in a very wierd spot under the car right next to the rear passenger wheel well. if the problem still proceeds then you need to replace one of the following.(fuel injectors, fuel pump) i hope that i have helped.

1996 kia sephia 1.8liter engine starts and idles fine but when it warms up and i start to press the accelerator it wants to cut off. already replaced fuel filter, had heads resurfaced.

try a fuel system clean you can get them at any auto parts store then if that dosnt work you may need to replace your fuel pump or fuel injectors.

Check the fuel system. Cheap first....fuel filter. Then the fuel pump. The engine does actually turn over, but it just won't start...correct?
