Pull the E.F.I. fuse located under the hood on the drivers side, if there is more than 1 efi fuse pull them both along with the E.T.C.S. fuse (if there is one) for 1 minute or so. That should do it

This light comes on when your vehicle is due for an oil change. Roughly ever 4500 miles. To reset the engine light turn off the ignition then push the odometer button. While holding that button in start the truck and you will see the odometer looking like its reseting. Dont worry its not reseting. After that the light should go off.

Check engine light came on, took it to auto zone. P2441 was the result. Is this something I can do or will I need to take it to a mechanic. Thanks

That code indicates a problem with the secondary air injection valve.
On the Tundra, it is under the intake manifold. Its location on the Tacoma will depend on whether you have the 2.7 or 4.0.
It was quoted as a $750 job on a Tundra, user did it himself for about $300 in parts.

Engine light on

your check engine light is to warn you of emission problems. so the cat sounds more likely the problem.

O2 Sensors

Autozone oxygen sensors do not function properly in Toyota vehicles. Just had a Tacoma yesterday with the same issue. New sensors, runs poor, check engine light on. Toyota sensors fixed it right now.
