SOURCE: 2002 dodge neon wont shift into reverse.

RUN it could be a bad tranny

Or have it checked by a pro tranny mechanic just in case it is only a sensor issue, i see a lot of neons with this problem.

My 2002 dodge neon alarm i wasnt aware i had went off after unlocking the drivers door and has disabled the car all together how can i get the alarm to stop going off and start the car

Try undoing your positive battery cable, wait 10 minutes, then reconnect, when you open door, alarm will go off, insert key in ignition and turn and alarm will go off.

check the battery in the fob it may be bad if the battery is try unhooking the cars battery for about one minute this should reset the system. if that dosent work then youll will have to chase down the open circuit thats causing the alarm to activate.

2002 dodge neon turned off while driving wont crank , no signal to starter

The newer Cars have a start relay (not the starter solenoid) it is usually in the engine compartment @ the firewall or wheelwell. It will be grouped with some other relays & possibly some fuses.

2000 dodge neon alarm

This is what i found but you need one fob.

here is another way if you can get it done( i bevlieve) There is a box under the dash of your can it says keyless entry if you have the right box and the fab just plug and play.

Make sure you get the screws in the defrost vent there is some screws and then it there is snaps
