2001 Olds Aurora center console lid hinge broke

- OK try car-part.com they are a network of junk yards. There are many on there. When you go there and are asked to choose your part from the list, chances are your door wont be there. Just choose a standard part and you will see that there are many Auroras out there. I know for sure I have a 2001.

i believe you are talking about the arm rest? Yes I have had to replace mine. I have a girlfriend who has a 2001 also, one I found on ebay and another at my local junk yard.

When you do find the part, you will need to take out the two screws in the vents in the back of the console. You can then pry this plastic part strait back and two clips will let it pop off, not that easy to do either. They, the screws are there in the luvers of the vent and cant be seen. Philips screws. Once that is off you can get to everything else. Time and patience is need to repair this. Good Luck!

- Also you just need the plastic top of the door. The top padding will come off if you want to change or have a different color.
