Question about 2006 Mazda 3
Hello. I see you've solved the Mazda3 information display problem. I'd greatly appreciate instructions on how to replace this unit. My car's still under warranty, but if I can do this cheaply and easily myself, I'd rather not have the hassle of taking the car to the dealer. Thanks!

It should be hit the unlock button 3 times, open and close the door 3 times, the locks will operate themselves twice. Hit the unlock button on the remote and it should program. you should try a remote from the dealer not from ebay.

This really works...the fuse that controls the Information display power is the one labelled "ROOM" (15Amp). It is located under the hood in the engine fuses.
I didnt even replace mine, I simply scraped off the dirt/rust from the metal portion and reinserted it. If this doesnt work, test the ROOM port with a functional fuse switch (I used the one labelled HORN, 15amp). If it works with the switch, you have a good part, but need a new fuse.
Free solution to an expensive problem...if you dont know whats wrong.

i'm not sure what you mean, "calibrating the clutch". Is the pedal sinking to the floor or not engaging the clutch well? If it seems spongy, there may be air in the line and it will need to be bled. If it does not engage well at all, check your clutch master cylinder for proper level of fluid in the reservoir or any fluid leaking out, the hose for leaks and the slave cylinder for any leaks. If they are, then whatever part was bad will need replacement.
Hope this is a little help,
