Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 2500
About 2 weeks ago I changed by fuel filter then about a week later I ran it down to no gas. Now what happens is that the truck will just shut down it doesn't give me any warnings it just stops running. Any solutions.
I toke my 2500 Dodge cummins into the dealer after it stalled and the engine light went on. They ran a test and said the fuel pump needed to be replaced and the fuel pump need to be relocated. Is the normal for them to relocate a fuel pump? And would this have anything to do with running the fuel below quarter of a tank?
There is a technical service bulletin to relocate the fuel pump on this vehicle when the transfer pump needs replaced. there is the possibility the transfer pump is going bad on the 2003 now...its not good to run them low or out of fuel
