Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Truck
My 2004 3500 laramie 6spd. manual cummins diesel cuts out while driving. Only 52,000 miles. Truck will suddenly cut out and take back off again. Dealer said problem was lift pump @ $785.00. By-passed lift pump with new F.A.S.S. (fuel air separation system) electric fuel pump system but problem still there. Anybody got a clue?
Its not the lift pump i been dealing with it for a year now and no help from anybody just a bunch of parts changed and time wasted and money spent to still have the same problem.. dont wast the time changing lift pump as long as you have fuel psi aprx. 10 psi to pump... if you figure out the problem let me know thanks... mine is a 01 made in canada.
